Living the Fairytale

For Activity Days last week, they girls got to take their dads to the park for dinner and games. At this moment it is hard to concentrate because apparently there is some kind of wrestling match going on upstairs. All the kids are running away from Bryon screaming and he is growling at them as he chases them around. Geez- be quiet up there, I am trying to blog. Sam just ran downstairs and wants me to "sabe me sabe me!" Anyway, these are pics of a race they had to do. Apparently there were several games to be played and Bryon and Rebekah kicked some fanny. Not surprised, have you met my competitive husband. I think this last one is going to get 8 x 10 framed status. Can you tell that someone is a daddy's girl?

We reached a milestone today and I took Sam to the AF Walmart in underwear! It was awesome. We only had to stop at the potty once. We never had this problem with Ethen , but Sam seems to be making up for it. He wore his underwear proudly, but he had his hand down them the entire time! Just now when he woke up from a nap he started doing it again. He just laughed when I told him to stop it, and told me "I like it". sigh

I wish I had taken before and after pictures but it was a bit embarrassing that I let it get this bad. The weeds were up to the boys window in the back and almost up to our window in the front. The only thing I can make grow out here is weeds. But after a two day battle and two truck loads, they are all gone. Thanks mom. Oh and the rest of the posts and the gate got done on the fence. Thanks Bry and Dad. Happy 4th of July, we are weed free. And didn't even have to go see the Bishop.

I forgot about these ones because we had to switch to the other camera. Mom and Dad flew in Thursday and we went to the Miracle Mile (of shops) in Planet Hollywood. The kids weren't to into shopping so they had some downtime waiting for everyone else. Then we found the rainstorm. It is a large inside pond. At various times of the day, it rains from the ceiling going from drip drip, to a down pour with thunder and smoke. Pretty cool, but we had to wait a long time for it. I don't think they were impressed.
