This one nailed it!

So what is the Deal?!?!

The Terrible Two's. Right! Three's are much harder. But Sam decided to drop a bombshell the week after he turned 4.

He has been more aggressive than his brother, but I think that is for obvious reason. Ethen actually has someone to wrestle with now. But Sam decided to take things to extreme. He hits and kicks, most of the time for no reason.

During Sacrament Meeting, in the middle of the Sacrament, he decided that he wanted to use Ethen's notebook. I took out some pages from the notebook to appease both boys, but this wasn't what Sam wanted. He started his fit.
I gave him a few seconds and then grabbed him in order to calm him down. He started kicking and hitting me. So much so, that I stood up and dragged him out of the chapel. I had to pin his legs so that he didn't kick poor Sister Cannon in the pew in front of us. Of course as soon as he realized he was going out, he screamed. Loud.

Now our ward isn't a quiet ward. There are A LOT of kids in there, but holy cow, he vibrated the walls as I was walking out with him.
I confined him in my arms until we were at the back of the building (all the while, kicking my belly of course, which is a tender area lately).
As soon as I put him down to try and talk to him, he bolted. Running down the other side of the building, he just about made it back into the chapel before I caught him. Prego in a dress and high-heeled boots, running down the hall after the tornado child.
Then we went outside, because he started to scream again.

Thus began the 30 minute confinement period. I sat on the grass and pinned him to my lap while he screamed and kicked and tired to hit me. Then the scratching began. He got me a few times, but the blood wasn't drawn until later on the in the day.
He is crying, I am crying and trying not to loose it and...well you get the idea.

Unfortunately it happened again later that night. Twice. Bryon was gone most of the day so it was not a good Sunday.
The same thing happened again last night and got really close a couple of times today.

After some pondering, I have realized that two stars need to be aligned for this devil to emerge.
First, he has to be hungry. Weird
And Second, he has to be tired.

I am starting to think that maybe he is hypo-glycemic or something. What else could cause such a personality change in the blink of an eye?

Oh the things 'they' don't tell you about parenthood.

Prince's and the Pee

Oh too too funny to not post.

Early Monday morning, Sam came into our room and told me that he pee'd in his bed. That hasn't happened for a while. It took me a minute before I realized that he had asked to sleep on the floor when I put him to bed that night. Great, here comes the carpet cleaner.

And Monday night, during DWTS, Sam had only been in bed for about 10 minutes, when he started screaming at Ethen. The older two had gotten into trouble for fighting and had to go to bed early. Ethen had been asleep about an hour.
I went in to see what Sam's deal was and witnessed Ethen getting back into bed.
Sam was screaming "Ethen pee'd on my blanket!" Sure enough, the blanket had a rather large wet spot that seeped into the sheet and there were splatter marks on the floor. The kid had gotten out of bed, and wizzed on his brother. Just thankful for the blanket being there.
Of course Ethen remember nothing about it in the morning.

I just couldn't stop laughing and being grateful that it wasn't the TV.
