Sam's Hiding Place

Sam always love to pull open the lazy susan in the corner of the kitchen. Today he discovered he could sit in it and close the door.
We played peek-a-boo for a while.

Ethen gave it a shot too. I don't have any idea how HE fit in there.

The Ugly Bug Ball

Ethen's Kindergarten Program was on Bugs. He had to dress up like any bug he wanted and of course he chose a spider. It was hilarious to watch them sing their cute song. Mostly because of the actions. Every time he raised his arms, he nailed the guy in front of him in the back of the head. Good thing it was one of his friends.
My parents came down to watch and we went and got ice cream afterwards.
He asked me later that night if I thought he did good. When I assured him that he was fabulous he told me that I should give him something for doing so well. I laughed and said he got ice cream. That apparently wasn't enough because he wanted me to give him something "that was very special to me".

WHY ME?!?!?!

So Bryon finally made me go to the doctor today. I have been sick for two weeks and am not getting better. The doc was awesome and let me know why I have been feeling crappy.
I had a cold (5-7 days) that turned into Influenza (I even had a flu shot, 5-7 days) that has now turned into Pneumonia and Laryngitis.
Needless to say I am down for a while.
I feel bad because Sam's b-day is on Friday. We clearly aren't going to be doing much.

What a Slam

So after I posted all that great information about shed hunting, Bryon told me to check out his shed blog.
In the stats section he listed what everyone has found so far this year. It even includes Rebekah with an impressive 3.
I was surprised to see my name listed, until I saw the comments.
Janet-still waiting for the shed in the backyard.

JERK!!
He can forget going out on Wednesday now.

Thanks Marianne

So Marianne (who we all thought had disappeared from the planet) commented about where we are keeping all these antlers that Bryon is finding. Funny, since he just got back from an afternoon of looking some more. Don't worry girls, I have once again built up my quota. I told you shed hunting season was coming and there would be more girls nights out.

Here are some pics of the storage area (AKA my kitchen)
The Deer on the Cabinets

The Elk on the wall. And yes you do need to keep them separated. Isn't he CUTE??

Getting Skunked can be fun too

Bryon and the kids went out with my dad today. The didn't come home with anything but cactus spines in their legs and a Harry Potter scab on Ethen's head. They had a great time and Bryon got some good pics.
I stayed home with Sam cuz I was sick.
