Who loves Cars?

Image
I now have another reason to love Sam's favorite movie. He got a matchbox size version of a bunch of the characters for Christmas. During church on Sunday I was playing with Sally and read the bottom of the car. Much to my surprise, Sally in a Porche 911. Anybody know of another famous Porche 911? GO ALICE!!!!

Another best Christmas Present

I was trying to put Sam down for a nap yesterday and the door bell rang. Not too unusual for a Sunday afternoon. But what to my wondering ears did hear? The sound of the Kellers!! I could recognize Brandons voice just about anywhere. He dropped by with Nicholas and Tyler while the girls were at church. Rebekah was bummed because she didn't get to see Brooklynn. And lets be honest. I really wanted to hold the baby. Anyway, we start chatting about life and such since the only contact we have with each other is the blogging that Andrea and I do. He proceeds to tell us that Rachelle Palmer (a girl I went to college with and Bryon) had a cough that wouldn't go away. She ended up getting an xray and had lung cancer. WOW!! Thanks for that one. Needless to say I went to the hospital this morning and got another xray. Great to see you guys.

The best Christmas Present Ever

My dear Laurie friend. I was at work and Laurie came into my office and asked if I liked Poinsettia's. "No. Not really." I told her. "Why not?" "Well, I don't hate them, but I wouldn't ever buy one for my house or anything." A few minutes later she walks back into the office with two lovely red plants, one for me and one for Jamie. "Merry Fetchin Christmas. Throw it away if you want to." That was a total set up. By the way, it still lives and is displayed on my kitchen table. Love you Raurie!!!

This was way too cute not to post.

Mother of the Year Award

I have been struggling with trying to get back on track. Yesterday wasn't a good one. The kids were snails at getting thier chores done in the morning. That started it off right. I had a staff meeting at work. To make it more fun for the older ones to hang out instead of going to the daycare I bring the laptop and let them watch a movie quietly behind the white board. People brought in treats so I even gave them a plate full of candy. They decided that they wanted to start a fight in the middle of me delivering my stuff to the 25 people in the room. I got really mad, but tried to contain myself for the crowd. Then Bryon's bus was late because of the snow so I took them to Walmart to grocery shop. Not the best idea I know, but what else was I supposed to do? I had an hour before he was going to show up. Curse them darn heeleys !! Ethen wore his and was weaving in and out of people and racing down the aisles. After three times of warning him, I finally told him that if...

Happy Anniversary

Not what you think though. Today is the four week mark. I have been sick for a total of four weeks!!! Yeah. To celebrate I am going to work later on and I already took a nap. I wish that I could stop coughing.

From the mouth of babes

We were driving down the road and Sam was just jabbering funny things. I asked him "Sam why are you so cute?" He thought for a second " Ummmm cuz I love mine mommy!" Yep that was the right answer.

Welcome to all that I have seen in the last two weeks.

Formal Apology

It has been quite a long time since my last post. Everything after this one will be catch up but I thought I needed to fill in a few blanks. After returning from the MOST FABULOUS TWILIGHT PARTY EVER! (and we have the pics to prove it!) I ended up with Influenza. Again! I got the shot two weeks before but I guess it didn't take effect yet. Of course, we all know what happens when Janet gets sick. It turned into my favorite pneumonia a week later. Oh then it comes in three's of course and now I am suffering from Asthma of all things. I was down for 12 freakin days. We missed Thanksgiving. Bryon had to throw a turkey dinner together since we stayed home. He did a great job of putting up with me and all the kids for such a long time. I am finally feeling well enough to get back to life, but I am so far behind I don't think that I will ever catch up.
