It took 4 months but Bryon finally got to use his favorite Christmas Present. Thanks Miah.

Spring Break Adventures

Legacy Center Swimming with friends.

Wines Park Picnic

FHE

Bryon and Rebekah did a great lesson on humility last night.
For a change of scenery we had it at the baseball park. The kids have really gotten into the sport lately and since Ethen can be out there telling Bryon to throw the wuffle balls straight because the wind is blowing them every which way and not even notice the breeze, we are all for it. We went out three times over spring break and Bryon went and bought a kids bat for them so they could hit the real balls too. They need to have fun too right? Not just Bryon and I.

We went and saw this movie over spring break. Seriously Hilarious. Highly recommend.

The kids got a kick out of quoting it and still are. On the way to Sam's birthday party, they were talking about their favorite parts. Ethen thought it was funny that Bob thinks Susan is a boy because she has boobs.

Funny enough on its own. But continue in the strength of hilarity of the moment when Rebekah tries to educate her naive brother. The missing link is a rather muscular fishy thingy so he has some pectoral's (just for clarification).

Rebekah tells Ethen that he shouldn't use that word because that is what some people call girls chest, except that they are really called breasts.

Bryon and I could do NOTHING but look at each other, try not to wreck the car and burst our eyeballs from trying not to laugh out loud.

So any of you who have seen the previews for this movie will get this. Everyone else, google it and watch. This was seriously funny.
There is a part in the preview where a dog with a talking collar gets a little distracted.
We were eating dinner the other night and Ethen says.
"Does anyone want to go-Mom!"
He couldn't even finish his sentence because we were all laughing so hard. The rest of the night we were all saying "Squirrel!...Hi there."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SAM

We headed over the castle park in West Jordan for a small party in celebration of Sam's big 3.

Only Grandma Colleen and Grandpa Jim were there, but we had a blast. The kids love that park.

Rebekah bit off more than she could chew

My failed attempt at a fire truck. Oh well. It tasted good.

HAD to get this out.

So I am waiting for time to pass until Bryon gets home and I have to go to Young Women's and I realized that the Internet has been fixed for almost a whole day and I haven't checked anything. DUH!!!!
So here is the latest New Moon info.
Summit announced that production is underway and listed all the characters cast. Instead of listing them all for you, check out HGE.

Can I just say woo hoo for Harry Clearwater! It is just too bad he won't be around for too long.
And also can I say (of course I can, it is my blog), that the speculation we have all had for a while is totally true now that we have seen the big wigs on the cast list that Catherine got a massively short end of the budget stick.
Pics from the set from Lainey Gossip again, who seems to be our go to for that lately.

My life

And I wonder why the house is a mess. Thanks Andrea, I stole this from you.
Recently, I was diagnosed with C. A. A. D. D.Child Activated Attention Deficit Disorder. This is how it manifests:I decide to do the laundry. As I start toward the basement, I notice that there are cheerios all over the floor and my car keys are in the cereal bowl. I decide to pick up the cheerios before I do the laundry. I lay my car keys down on the counter, put the cheerios in the trash can under the counter and notice that the trash can is full. So, I decide to take out the trash. But then think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the trash I may as well pay the bills first. I take my check book off the table, and see that there is only one check left, my extra checks are in my desk in the office/playroom, so I go to my desk where I find a sippy cup full of juice. I'm going to look for my checks, but first I decide I should put the sippy cup in the refrigerator to keep it cold. As I head toward the kitchen with the sippy cup, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye-they need to be watered. I set the sippy cup on the counter, and I discover baby wipes that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back in the bathroom, but first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the wipes back down, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote, one of the kids left it on the kitchen table. I realize that after school when they go to watch TV, I will be looking for the remote as they fight over who lost it, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I splash some water on the flowers, but most of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back down, get some paper towels and wipe up the spill. Then I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day, the laundry isn't washed, the bills aren't paid there is a warm cup of juice sitting on the counter, the flowers aren't watered, there is still only one check in my checkbook, I can't find the remote, I can't find the wipes, and I don't remember what I did with the car keys. When I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day long, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail.

YW training

The pres went down to Salt Lake for the semi-annual General YW training. I had never been before so I was excited. We had a heck of a time, though that was inevitable since the company was great. Afterwards we took the starving women to Paradise Bakery. Yumm Yumm. Thanks ladies, I love you all!I got home to find Bryon standing on a chair installing our new microwave. Sweetness! He rocks.

Flash Game

Courtesy of Lehi City, we got free tickets to the Utah Flash Game on Wednesday night. We had never been before and the kids were excited. Our seats were amazing! I asked Bryon if maybe the D league played on lower hoops, because I didn't think they looked high enough. Oh no, they are 10 foot hoops, it just that the players are so stinking tall. I have never seen them all up close before so it looked like adults playing on an 8 foot hoop at the LC.

The franchise really involves the crowd. We got those annoying banging sticks that ended up as weapons.Sam doesn't like his picture taken right now.

We sat with the Linfords to corral the kids together since Jamie was down a husband. The kids loved sitting together.

Ethen had a great time, even though this pic doesn't show it.
At half time we went back behind the bleachers where they had two bounce houses set up. I think this was the highlight of the night.
At one of the time-outs, the dancers gathered kids from the crowd to go out and do the chicken dance. It was so funny. Then the MC asked who from Lehi City was doing the chicken dance and since I was up at the gate taking pics of the kids, I starting shaking it and got a coupon for free pizza! Bryon said he wished he would have had the video camera. I say why? I act like a retard all the time, this wasn't a one time thing.

Cookies and Big Boys

Two big events on Wednesday. One I made Air Janet cookies. It has been a while and I know that everyone appreciated all the hard work that goes into such a wonderful creation. Sam got a little carried away helping me.

And Two, we finally were able to convince Sam that it was okay to try and use the potty. He has been rather stubborn about it.
We bought him Cars underwear and he wanted to look at himself in the mirror with them on. Then he decided to help me clean the mirror with the wipes I use to clean my face. Streakage!

Radom

I found these one the camera today. I didn't take them so I don't even know when Bryon shot them. Of course I am concerned by the last one. Perhaps Sam threw something down the vent. He does that a lot.
