It was 90 degrees on Monday so I let the kids jump on the trap with the sprinkler on. Yeah.... forgot the sun screen. Ethen hurt so bad after FHE that he just wanted to go to bed. I came in to rub Aloe Vera on his back and caught Rebekah in an act of kindness. She took a large board book and tented it over his back so the blanket wouldn't touch his shoulders (or back) and then covered him up. And that's how he slept

And the other reason I have been such a slacker! These are only a fraction of the pics from our 2 day youth conference in Aspen Grove this weekend. I couldn't post them all, so any of you that want pics let me know. I will make you a cd. Also you can check my facebook. I put a bunch there. The first ones are of the dance that Aprill organized between all the wards that were up there during the weekend. I think the fact that the kids knew they wouldn't be seeing the other teens again aloud them to open up a bit. They were a bit more exuberant than at our stake dances. These are from the 5AM wake up Hike. We weren't quite awake yet. The view was beautiful as we watched the sun come up. And finally, the best of the best. We outfitted all the youth with swords and shields and played capture the flag. This was amazing. Thanks to everyone who helped put this together. We all had a great time. WE LOVE YOU ALL

I am always making things and then giving them away, so I decided I better start taking pictures of the projects that take me forever. I made these with my new Cricut for two of my friends birthday's.

This is the reason my house is a mess (most of the time). Sam takes as many cars as he can get his hands on and parks them in different rooms of the house. This was only two, but by the time I thought to get the camera, he was just about done.

I know you are wondering if we are alive or not. Yep, just super busy. I haven't had any time to sit down and browse the net for a while and since we moved the computer desk into the family room the laptop no longer sits on the kitchen table (now my circut does most of the time), so I am really behind. After Youth Conference this weekend, life will slow down (I hope) and I will have time to catch up on the last month of life.
