Who loves Cars?
He got a matchbox size version of a bunch of the characters for Christmas. During church on Sunday I was playing with Sally and read the bottom of the car.
Much to my surprise, Sally in a Porche 911. Anybody know of another famous Porche 911?

Another best Christmas Present
But what to my wondering ears did hear? The sound of the Kellers!! I could recognize Brandons voice just about anywhere.
He dropped by with Nicholas and Tyler while the girls were at church. Rebekah was bummed because she didn't get to see Brooklynn. And lets be honest. I really wanted to hold the baby.
Anyway, we start chatting about life and such since the only contact we have with each other is the blogging that Andrea and I do. He proceeds to tell us that Rachelle Palmer (a girl I went to college with and Bryon) had a cough that wouldn't go away. She ended up getting an xray and had lung cancer.
WOW!! Thanks for that one.
Needless to say I went to the hospital this morning and got another xray.
Great to see you guys.

Mother of the Year Award
The kids were snails at getting thier chores done in the morning. That started it off right.
I had a staff meeting at work. To make it more fun for the older ones to hang out instead of going to the daycare I bring the laptop and let them watch a movie quietly behind the white board. People brought in treats so I even gave them a plate full of candy.
They decided that they wanted to start a fight in the middle of me delivering my stuff to the 25 people in the room. I got really mad, but tried to contain myself for the crowd.
Then Bryon's bus was late because of the snow so I took them to Walmart to grocery shop. Not the best idea I know, but what else was I supposed to do? I had an hour before he was going to show up.
Curse them darn heeleys!!
Ethen wore his and was weaving in and out of people and racing down the aisles. After three times of warning him, I finally told him that if he wheeled one more time, I would make him take off his shoes and he could walk around Walmart in his socks. The look of shock on his face gave me a good impression that he understood me.
5 minutes later he raced passed me. I called him over to the cart and yes I made him take them off. Just then Bryon shows up and watches as I make our 6 year old take off his shoes. Then I realize that he didn't wear socks!! Nastiness. But I stuck to my guns. I made him walk the rest of the time in bare feet.
I did let him put them on before we went outside. I am not that cruel.
Happy Anniversary
Today is the four week mark. I have been sick for a total of four weeks!!!
Yeah.
To celebrate I am going to work later on and I already took a nap.
I wish that I could stop coughing.

Formal Apology
After returning from the MOST FABULOUS TWILIGHT PARTY EVER! (and we have the pics to prove it!) I ended up with Influenza. Again! I got the shot two weeks before but I guess it didn't take effect yet.
Of course, we all know what happens when Janet gets sick. It turned into my favorite pneumonia a week later. Oh then it comes in three's of course and now I am suffering from Asthma of all things. I was down for 12 freakin days.
We missed Thanksgiving. Bryon had to throw a turkey dinner together since we stayed home. He did a great job of putting up with me and all the kids for such a long time.
I am finally feeling well enough to get back to life, but I am so far behind I don't think that I will ever catch up.

Tribute Tuesday
I was changing laundry and knocked down a pile of pictures that I had kiffed from my parents house and meant to scrapbook who knows how long ago.
I decided to kiff something esle. The Fabulous Macula does a Flashback Friday on her blog. I was going to wait until Friday but I decided I couldn't. I needed the little extra boost today.
So here is the first official Tribute Tuesday (not be confused with Twilight Tuesday).
I am going to pick a different person in my life each week to spotlight and thoroughly embarrass the crap out of them by posting great things.
Most of the pics that spilled on the floor were of my older brother Jeremiah. We are only 18 months apart so you can imagine that we were close growing up. Now it is sad to say that I don't have his phone number, nor even remember where is house is. Life gets in the way sometimes, but that is a bit ridiculous. (Alicia should be sending this info soon I bet).
So he is the lucky winner of this weeks contest. His totally cool wife watches the blog so I know this will not take long to get to him. Sorry, Miah. These were too funny to keep to myself.
The many faces of Jeremiah
Take care to notice the can of flour or whatever under the tree. My food storage parents at work.
With baby me (and Auntie Tammy and Lois too who are going to send threatening emails I am sure).
Ethen thinks this it the coolest cake ever. He might just get it for his 7th birthday. We have been Star Wars freaks from the beginning. The first one came out the year I was born. Too bad we didn't save all the toys we had. Ebay would have been a gold mine.
About 1986. The first day of school with our new van and our new house (only 1 year old at this point).
I don't think he built this quarter pipe. However, the giant one in our backyard was definitely his idea.
Yellowstone National Park. I was about 12 so 1990?
This was when I was away at college. He had moved back in with my parents and his band was well underway.
I stole this one off the Redemption My Space (a site no doubt monitored by his Internet extraordinaire wife) to give credit where it is due. The last I heard he had 10 guitars and never had to take a lesson. I hate that everything was always so easy for him.
My friend Laurie says that I am one of the smartest people she knows (I know she needs to meet more people), but Jeremiah was always smarter than I was.
I know Marianne will get a kick out of these, knowing him from Jr. High.
Love you Miah.
