They didn't even mention anything about it being sprained, she just put and ace bandage on it to appease him. So do I take him to the pediatrician who will send me all the way to Orem to get an x-ray or do I wait it out for the weekend. Perhaps he is just being a sissy. It has been known to happen.

I don't have any words of wisdom. I would suggest doing something that required quick movement with the injured hand or hitting it accidentally and see if he faints...but I might get turned in for child abuse.
