The HAUL

I failed to take many pictures of the kids trick or treating. I did however get one of Ethen's impressive candy collection. He was hesitant to go out because of the rain and the wind. It stopped about an hour later and he managed to do

the entire WARD! He went more than even Rebekah this year. We got out the four wheeler not to help them get more candy, but just to find out where the boys had gone they were out so long.

Halloween at School.

Bryon was so excited for Halloween this year that he took the entire day off. We went to the school for the parade and then I stayed to help Rebekah's class with the party.

Ethen's awesome Jango Fett. He wouldn't look at me, but you can tell he is excited we are there.

Rebekah and Miss Block (who is wearing Bryon's pattern of Camo).

Mrs. Pizza Peterson. I asked Ethen if he ate his teacher for lunch and he laughed. They have pizza every Friday. Even the teacher thought I was funny.

Annual Pumpkin Carving

The time honored tradition of trying to get our children to kill a pumpkin every year is revered at our house. Not only because it tests the strength of our stomachs, but because Bryon unveils his more violent side.

Ethen's hand is only gently resting on the top. He refused to grab any guts. He tried it once and all of the sudden told me that his stomach hurt. He was this way last year too.

I am really worried about this one.

Sam thought it was a blast. He didn't touch the guts either, but enjoyed mom getting his ready.
YUMMMM

The finished products. Ethen sure looks proud considering I did all the work for him. Which is why I didn't carve one for myself.
Sam was so excited about his "little one pumpkin". He was done before everyone else and kept running outside to look at it. He turned it around so he could see the scary face from the couch inside.

Then there was a light inside too! He was at an all time high. We laughed for a long time about how much he loved his little one pumpkin. He wasn't too happy when we told him he couldn't take it into his bed that night.

LC Halloween Party

Every Halloween the Legacy Center put out a massive party. It is the biggest event of the year, with about 3500 people in four hours. We take all week to turn the ENTIRE 77,000 sq ft into one rocking party. We have a huge movie playing in one gym with carnival games and a hay maze in the others. The Rockwall always does a great theme and then we have the spook alley that is the biggest hit. All 200 employee are required to work that day (and all the time before that). It is so much fun! We all dress up and have a contest to see who is the best.
Because this is the only time that I don't have to be in contact with the public, I let one of the kids come and help set up the day of the party. They fight over who gets to come and it was Rebekah's year. We showed up at 11 and worked until the party started at 4. CRAZY!!

Rebekah got lucky and her friend Trinity came to help her mom too. They hung out together.
These are some of my favorites from the night. I know there is a ton, but I took about 100 so be glad they aren't all here.

That is how I felt at about 8pm. My feet were so swollen.

And finally.. Janet, Jamie, and Laurie. Other wise known as the three stooges, the tri-fecta, the coolest Tuesday night managers... whatever. We dressed up as ghosts, though you had to see us all together to get it.
That is me as the Ghost of Christmas Future, Jamie as Present (and what a hat) and Laurie as Past. We had a ton of fun getting out costumes together and laughed a lot.
LOVE YOU GIRLIES!!!

Firestation

Ethen's class had their first field trip today. A walk to the fire station!
I decided to come when I realized that it would be windy and he probably would only make the half mile trip attached to his teacher. Instead he road in the stroller holding Sam on his lap and covered in a blanket. It took the whole walk for him to calm down.
His class laughed at him and he soaked it all in and started clowning around.
Sam was the only toddler that came so the firemen took special attention to him. He was the only one that got to sit in the firetruck.
After the kids asked them questions about the truck, they pulled out the fire hose and let the kids spray the grass. There was a woman out for her morning run and I teased Ethen that she needed a drink and he should spray her. Luckily (for her) she was too far away.
Then we got to look inside the ambulance. Ethen was a little happy about it.
He had a great time and walked back to the school without any problems. He just needed the distraction of a good time.

Sam was in heaven. He kept grabbing me and saying "Mom look! Firetruck." for about 30 minutes that was all I heard from him. It was a good thing he came along.

Impromptu Shed Hunt

Bryon took Rebekah for a long four wheeler ride while I stayed with the boys and took a nap.
They drove up Bryon's mountain, just to see if they could. Of course Rebekah was paying attention and found this two point shed just off the side of the road.
Ethen was really mad and wanted me to take him shed hunting.
Some landscape pics that Bryon took.

Deer Hunt

I didn't go so I was excited to see the pictures that Bryon took.
